NWDental practices make it easy
Save time by filling out your patient forms now. When you first arrive and meet our staff, you’ll fill out a registration form. This helps our team get to know you better. It’s always a good idea to arrive a few minutes early.
We then take a series of digital images or x-rays to get a better look at your entire mouth. X-rays allow us to see things we normally couldn’t, and help us provide a comprehensive exam.
X-rays are also essential for denture wearers. Our doctors can determine if you have adequate bone to support your dentures, plus check for bone fractures, cysts, tumors, lesions, and sinus issues.

After reviewing your x-rays, our dentists will discuss your dental and medical history and the reason for your visit. The dentist will then perform a thorough oral exam and suggest a comprehensive treatment plan that’s best for you. This is important, because seeing the full picture helps you make the best decisions about your care.
You’ll hear the term “comprehensive care” often at NWDENTAL. It means that the doctors do more than just fix the immediate problem. They examine your entire mouth, recommend treatment options for long-lasting oral health, and work with you to pick which treatments suit you best.
Tip: Research shows a link between dental health and overall health. ADA
Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive oral care – that means taking care of immediate problems and preventing small issues from getting bigger and more expensive. If left untreated some conditions may have serious consequences for your overall health, including heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
After the doctor completes your exam, our office manager will meet with you to answer any questions, discuss payment options, and work with you on the best treatment plan for your needs.
After your first visit, you’ll take our complete evaluation with you, along with the cost of your treatment, and the date for your follow-up appointment.
If you have any questions during your visit, or if there is anything you don’t understand, members of the NWDental team are happy to help.
Your doctor and the rest of the NWDENTAL team look forward to finding your smile.
