Whitening

In-office bleaching provides the quickest way to whiten teeth. With in-office bleaching, the whitening product is applied directly to the teeth. These products can be used in combination with heat, a special light, and/or a laser. Results are seen in only one, 30- to 60-minute treatment. But to achieve dramatic results, several appointments are usually needed. However, with in-office bleaching, dramatic results can be seen after the first treatment.

Crowns

Dental crowns provide a great solution for chips, broken teeth, stains, and other tooth problems. Crowns prove to be a good investment as they can improve and strengthen teeth, helping you create a better smile. More natural-looking than the metal crowns of old, porcelain crowns made of ceramic material allow you to change the shape, size and color of teeth without sacrificing function. Crowns are shaped to fit the contour of your tooth and match the shade of teeth with careful comparison and intricate shaping. Crowns fit nicely on top of teeth for a snug, natural fit.

Partials

We offer several types of partial dentures – cast metal, flexible and acrylic. The cast metal and flexible partials are our best partials. Please check with the practice nearest you to learn which partials they provide.

Dentures

If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from periodontal disease, tooth decay or injury, Northwest Dental Center can fix your smile by providing you with a set of complete dentures. Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag, making a person look older. You’ll be able to eat and speak—things that people often take for granted until their natural teeth are lost.

Root Canals

A root canal treatment is the process of repairing and saving a decayed or infected tooth by removing dead or infected nerves and pulp from its root canal.

This process is also known as endodontic treatment. Infection in the canal may be a result of germs accessing the tooth through cracks, deep cavities or flawed fillings. The tooth is then said to be abscessed as a result of the pulp infection, which may lead to tooth pain and swelling. Therefore, the pulp has to be removed and the root canal cleaned and sealed, to avoid further damage to the tooth.

Bridges

If you have had a tooth pulled, you may need a relatively simple and straightforward restorative dental procedure called dental bridges, which are false teeth used to replace missing teeth. They are joined permanently onto neighboring teeth or dental implants using metal bands and resin. There are three types of dental bridge used in restorative dentistry, and the type used is dependent upon the suitability of the teeth it is to be fixed to, and where in the mouth the bridge is to be positioned.
